Description:

CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Public Health Conference Support Programs.? $600,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund approximately sixty awards. The purpose of the program is to: provide partial support for specific non-Federal conferences (not a series) in the areas of health promotion and disease prevention information and education programs, and applied research. The estimated funding dates are on or about sixty days before the date of the conference.
